No World Series for the Dodgers but quite a season!

The World Series is the ultimate goal but you've got to give the Dodgers credit for making the "final four." The struggles of past ace Chad Billingsley hurt the Dodgers immensely and I would like to have seen Jon Garland and Jeff Weaver as a part of the NLCS roster. I assume Garland's absence was due to money issues as his $10,000,000 price ticket to re-sign was a bit high for the budget-minded Dodgers. I think he would have been a much better match for the Phillies than Hiroki Kuroda. It will be interesting to see how the McCourt divorce influences preparations for 2010.
